TITLE OF BILL:
 
An act to amend the executive law, in relation to the New York state
veterans cemeteries
 
 
SUMMARY OF SPECIFIC PROVISIONS:
 
Section 1 amends section 365 of the executive Law, as added by section 5
of part W of chapter 57 of the laws of 2013.
 
 
JUSTIFICATION:
 
This bill establishes State Veterans Cemeteries in communities that
successfully complete all legal prerequisites in New York. Such ceme-
teries would provide for the proper and respectful internment of veter-
ans in areas not adequately served by national or local veteran's ceme-
teries.
