        AN ACT to amend the  environmental  conservation  law,  in  relation  to
          authorizing  the  hunting  of  big  game  in the county of Albany with
          rifles; and providing for the repeal of such provisions upon the expi-
          ration thereof
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Item (d) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907
     2  of  the environmental conservation law, as amended by section 14 of part
     3  EE of chapter 55 of the laws of 2014, is amended to read as follows:
     4    (d) Eastern region,     Deer, first Monday     Pistol, shotgun, cross-
     5    except Albany,          after November 15      bow, muzzle loading
     6    Columbia, Fulton,       through first Tuesday  firearm or
     7    Orange, Rensselaer,     after December 7       long bow only
     8    Saratoga, Washington
 

         EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets
                              [ ] is old law to be omitted.

     6    §  2.  Paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the environ-
     7  mental conservation law is amended by adding a new item (m) to  read  as
     8  follows:
     9  (m) The county of        Deer, the first          Pistol, shotgun, cross-
    10  Albany                   Saturday after November  bow, muzzle loading

    11                           15 through first Sunday  firearm, rifle
    12                           after December 7         or long bow only
    13    § 3.  This act shall take effect immediately, provided that:
    14    (a)  the  amendments  to  item  (d) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
    15  section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law  made  by  section
    16  one of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
    17  paragraph  pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as
    18  amended;
    19    (b) the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section  11-0907
    20  of  the  environmental  conservation law made by section two of this act
    21  shall be subject to the  expiration  and  reversion  of  such  paragraph
    22  pursuant  to  section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as amended;
    23  and

    24    (c) nothing contained in this act shall be construed so as  to  extend
    25  the  provisions  of this act beyond October 1, 2016, when upon such date
    26  this act shall expire and  the  provisions  contained  herein  shall  be
    27  deemed repealed.
