Authorizes the awarding of grants by the commissioner of health, in
consultation with the breast cancer detection and education program advisory
council, to community-based agencies and organizations which provide
counseling, education and outreach programs providing information and support
services to persons diagnosed with breast cancer; provides such community-based
agencies and organizations shall have breast cancer survivors in
decision-making positions and provide a broad range of cancer education and
support services free of charge.
