 BILL NUMBER:  A2533

 TITLE OF BILL :  An act to amend the election law, in relation to
requirements for proof of identification for registering to vote

 PURPOSE OR GENERAL IDEA OF BILL :

To require six points of proof of identification in order to register
to vote.

 JUSTIFICATION :

The Department of Motor Vehicles continually updates the list of
acceptable proofs of identity. From their  ACCEPTABLE DOCUMENTS CHART
you must produce six points to receive a valid New York State Driver's
license. The Board of Elections should implement this system to
eliminate voter fraud.
