AN ACT to amend the state law, in relation to designating service dogs
as the official state dog
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. The state law is amended by adding a new section 90 to read
2 as follows:
3 § 90. State dog. The service dog shall be the official dog of the
4 state. "Service dog" shall have the same meaning as set forth in section
5 one hundred eight of the agriculture and markets law.
6 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
