AN ACT to amend the environmental conservation law, in relation to the
hunting of deer and bear in Cortland county; and providing for the
repeal of such provisions upon expiration thereof
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907
2 of the environmental conservation law, as amended by section 11 of chap-
3 ter 483 of the laws of 2010, is amended to read as follows:
4 (f) Southern tier, Deer, first Monday Pistol, shotgun,
5 central and Western after November 15 crossbow,
6 region, except those through first Tuesday muzzle loading firearm
7 counties or portions after December 7 or long bow only
8 thereof listed in
9 item (i) or (j)
10 of this paragraph
11 § 2. Item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
12 the environmental conservation law, as amended by section 12 of chapter
13 483 of the laws of 2010, is amended to read as follows:
14 (f) Southern tier, Deer and bear, first Pistol, shotgun,
15 central and Western Monday after November crossbow,
16 region, except those 15 through first muzzle loading firearm
17 counties or portions Tuesday after or long bow only
18 thereof listed in December 7
19 item (i) or (j)

2 § 3. Item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
3 the environmental conservation law, as amended by chapter 600 of the
4 laws of 2005, is amended to read as follows:

12 § 4. Paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the environ-
13 mental conservation law is amended by adding a new item (j) to read as
14 follows:
15 (j) Cortland CountyDeer, first MondayPistol, rifle,
16 shotgun,
17 after November 15muzzle loading
18 through first Tuesdayfirearm, or long
19 after December 7bow only
20 § 5. This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that:
21 (a) the amendments to item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
22 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
23 one of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
24 paragraph pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as
25 amended, when upon such date the provisions of section two of this act
26 shall take effect;
27 (b) the amendments to item (f) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
28 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
29 two of this act shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such
30 paragraph pursuant to section 17 of chapter 483 of the laws of 2010, as
31 amended;
32 (c) section three of this act shall take effect on the same date as
33 the reversion of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of the
34 environmental conservation law, as provided in section 13 of chapter 600
35 of the laws of 1993, as amended, or as provided in section 17 of chapter
36 483 of the laws of 2010, as amended, whichever is later;
37 (d) the amendments to item (j) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
38 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
39 four of this act shall survive the expiration and reversion of such
40 paragraph as provided in section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993,
41 as amended, and as provided in section 17 of chapter 483 of the laws of
42 2010, as amended; and
43 (e) nothing contained in this act shall be construed so as to extend
44 the provisions of this act beyond January 1, 2014, when upon such date
45 this act shall expire and the provisions contained in this act shall be
46 deemed repealed.
