Andrew Garbarino was elected to serve the constituents of the 7th Assembly District on November 6, 2012. His district includes parts of Suffolk County. A third generation local businessman, Garbarino works at his family law firm in downtown Sayville. The Garbarino family has owned/operated small businesses throughout the downtown communities from Bay Shore to Patchogue over the last several decades. A lifelong resident of Sayville, Garbarino graduated from Sayville High School and received a B.A. in History and Classical Humanities from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He then returned home and earned his law degree from Hofstra University School of Law. Devoted to his community, Garbarino is a member of the Rotary Club and Knights of Columbus, and is a parishioner at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church in Sayville. Garbarino is counsel for the Captain Merrill H. Masin and Graham D. Masin Foundation, which awards over $25,000 per year in local scholarships to high school students.
