Dear Neighbor,

Welcome to my assembly Web site. The site represents my efforts to keep the constituents of the 10th Assembly District better informed about what’s occurring in Albany and how state policies will affect our community.

As your representative, I will continue to work in a bipartisan manner to make Long Island a more affordable place to live by reducing the burden that the state places on Long Island residents.

By capping property taxes, eliminating unfunded state mandates on our schools and local governments, and by rejecting calls for new taxes and fees on families and businesses, I am confident that the Legislature can take the necessary steps to move the state in the right direction during these tough economic times.

In addition to lowering the burden, I will continue to work toward enhancing education funding for Long Island schools, promote the use of green technologies and work to create a more business-friendly atmosphere to ensure a brighter, cleaner and more prosperous Long Island for future generations.
