Students at the Northeast Elementary School participated in a Global Youth Service Day project by collecting non-perishable food items that were donated to St. Martin of Tours Church Food Pantry. All 350 students participated. Global Youth Service Day is sponsored by the Town of Babylon and Assemblyman Bob Sweeney to encourage volunteerism on the part of our community’s youth.
