Millman Presents $50,000 Check to Park Slope YMCA for New Aquatics Center

Brooklyn – Assemblywoman Joan L. Millman will announced this past week that she has allocated $50,000 in state funding for the construction of a new aquatics center at the Park Slope YMCA. Joining her at the announcement were students from PS 10 who have benefited from swimming lessons at the YMCA’s facilities and YMCA director Sean Andrews.
The funding is part of an ongoing effort to increase the amount of active recreation options for the residents of Brooklyn.
