Millman Announces New Stop on the Free Shuttle to Fairway
October 19, 2007

Brooklyn – Assemblywoman Joan L. Millman visited the St. Charles Jubilee Senior Center this week to announce that the free shuttle to the Fairway Supermarket will make an additional stop at the location. On Thursday, October 25th, the shuttle will depart from Assemblywoman Millman’s district office at 10:00 AM and make a second stop at the St. Charles Jubilee Senior Center at 10:20 AM before arriving at the Fairway Supermarket in Red Hook.
“We do not have adequate grocery store options in this neighborhood, so it is my hope that the free shuttle to Fairway helps address this community needs,” stated Millman. “After the success of the shuttle from Carroll Gardens to Fairway, I am glad we also can include Brooklyn Heights residents. I encourage my constituents to take advantage of this opportunity.”
When: Thursday, October 25th, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Where: Assemblywoman Millman’s Office at 341 Smith Street (10:00 AM) and St. Charles Jubilee Center at 55 Pierrepont Street (10:20 AM)
What: Free shuttle to the Fairway Supermarket
