Millman Hosts Annual Senior Movie
September 2, 2009

Brooklyn, NY This morning, Assemblywoman Joan L. Millman welcomed 100 local senior citizens to a movie at Cobble Hill Cinema. Seniors from the St. Charles Jubilee Senior Center, RAICES Times Plaza Senior Center and the Eileen Dugan Senior Center all attended the show. The movie, Play the Game, tells the story of a widowed grandfather (played by Andy Griffith) and his grandson (played by Paul Campbell) as they navigate the dating world.
The movie was a success! said Millman. We all enjoyed it, and after the credits rolled, everyone had time to get back to their respective senior centers in time for lunch. I would like to thank the staff at each of the senior centers for their cooperation and the Cobble Hill Cinema for accommodating us.
