Assemblywoman Millman stressed the importance of learning computer skills at any age. “It is crucial to address and reduce the increasing digital divide among senior citizens. I believe that it is never too late to learn something new. The skills that these graduates receive are invaluable and can be used in their everyday lives. Additionally, these seniors now gain access to the computer lab at RAICES. I know RAICES will continue to increase computer proficiency among seniors by offering this course to as many individuals as possible.”
Assemblywoman Millman, Senator Montgomery’s Office and the RAICES Times Plaza Senior Center distributed certificates to each of the graduates. They also received flash drives so they can save their individual work.
