Dinowitz Sponsors Health Screening

Dinowitz teams up with Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital

Assemblyman Jeffrey Dinowitz is sponsoring free health screening for the community. In conjunction with Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital, Assemblyman Dinowitz is offering free heath screening for the following: asthma, bone density, alcohol and depression, blood pressure and stroke screening. Also, nutritional information on obesity and diabetes will be available.

The program will take place from 9:30am to 12:30pm on Thursday, September 8, 2005. The program will be on the 2nd floor of Riverdale YM-YWHA located at 5625 Arlington Avenue.

William P. Walsh is Senior VP of Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital. Arthur Wagner, C.O.O, is Executive Director of Jacobi Medical Center/North Central Bronx Hospital.

Assemblyman Dinowitz stated, “Conditions such as asthma and high blood pressure are taking a heavy toll on Bronxites which is why I hope many take part in this opportunity to get screened. I would like to thank Jacobi Hospital.”
