Assemblyman Marcos A. Crespo Promotes Importance of the 2010 Census

January 15, 2010

Assemblyman Marcos A. Crespo (D-Bronx) will join with US Census staff to advise and seek the support of local businesses in promoting the importance of the 2010 Census.

On Friday, January 15, 2010, Assemblyman Crespo will visit and distribute Census promotional material to businesses along Westchester Avenue, beginning at 12 Noon on Colgate Avenue and ending on Harrod Avenue in The Bronx.

“Participation in the 2010 US Census will determine future allocation of federal resources for our community. Therefore, we need our local businesses to help in the effort of education and encouraging community residents to participate”, said Assemblyman Crespo.

This is one of several efforts that Assemblyman Crespo will organize to inform community residents about how safe, easy, and important their participation in the 2010 Census will be.
