Assemblyman Marcos A. Crespo and AARP to Host Discounted Defensive Driver Course
Assemblyman Marcos A. Crespo (D-Bronx) has joined with AARP to provide a Discounted Defensive Driver Course for residents of the 85th Assembly District (Soundview, Clason Point, Harding Park, Bronx River and Hunts Point).
The course will be offered from November 9th through November 10th from 9:00 – 1:00 p.m. Seating is limited, so to reserve a seat, please call Assemblyman Crespo’s office at (718) 893-0202.
“This is a great opportunity for drivers to learn how to maximize safety for themselves, their families and our community when driving a vehicle, while also receiving much needed relief in their insurance costs,” stated Assemblyman Crespo.
The Course is being offered at a discounted rate, $12.00 for AARP members and $14.00 for non-members. Participants will learn defensive driving techniques, learn new traffic laws, learn how to adjust your driving to age related changes in vision, hearing and reaction time, and may be eligible to get insurance discounts and up to 4 points reduction from your driving record.
