"If there was one thing that Barbara demonstrated that she cared more about than anything else, it was young people. It was the children of this state. And among the children of this state she cared greatly about their education, and she would fight with anyone vociferously to make sure that every single child had access to a quality education no matter where they lived, no matter what kind of roots they had, even if they were a coal miner's daughter that moved to New York State," said Assemblymember Cahill while speaking on the resolution to celebrate the life and accomplishments of Assemblywoman Barbara M. Clark who passed away in February. (K.1407)
