Dear Neighbor,

As your newly elected representative in the New York State Assembly, I am here to fight for the people of Western New York. As a wife and mother of three children, ensuring a viable future for our families is my top priority. Unless we cut taxes and eliminate unfunded mandates we will continue to see an outflow of both businesses and the young people who will shape our state for years to come.

I know the future of our state lies in the hands of small business and we must work to bolster the economy and create well-paying jobs. I am extremely proud of my successes in the private sector and am confident that my experience and hard-working approach as a businesswoman will help me to bring prosperity back to Western New York.

The people of New York are overburdened. Families are finding it difficult to pay their tax bills and many businesses are being forced to cut jobs, relocate or close up shop. In order for any business to run properly and efficiently, those involved must be held accountable for their actions, and I feel that the same should hold true for state government. We need a more fiscally conservative approach that will rein in spending and end the era of taxing and spending.

I promise to be a strong voice in the Assembly, and I know that we must create a more transparent legislative process in order to make sure that the best interests of the people of New York are properly represented and pursued.
