McDonough, Fuschillo To Host Hurricane Preparedness Program

Assemblyman Dave McDonough (R,C,I-Merrick) will host two programs to help Long Island families prepare for hurricane season. The first program will be held on Tuesday, August 7 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town of Hempstead-Merrick Road Park, 2550 Clubhouse Road, Merrick NY 11566.

The 2011 Hurricane season brought Tropical Irene to Long Island and caused serious destruction in its wake. An estimated 450,000 customers on the Island lost power and 40 people died nationwide as a result of the storm.
