State Economic Development Funding Will Assist East End Economy
Over $5 million awarded to South Fork Enterprises

State Assemblyman Fred W. Thiele, Jr., (I, D, WF-Sag Harbor) today announced that the East End will benefit from the economic development grants recently announced by Governor Cuomo through the Regional Economic Development Councils.

Governor Cuomo announced $716 million in grants through the State's 10 Regional Economic Councils. Long Island alone was awarded $83 million, more than any other region in the State. Thiele stated that there are a number of projects that the 1st Assembly District will benefit from, including:
