Queens, NY – Assemblywoman Nily Rozic (D, WF-Fresh Meadows) partnered with Commonpoint Queens to host her annual Family Fun Day on Sunday, August 20th, 2023. With over 600 attendees the event, held at Cunningham Park in Fresh Meadows, featured inflatables, face painting, snacks, and giveaways, including museum tickets to the Hall of Science, the Met, the New York Aquarium, and the Museum of Natural History! All snacks, rides, entertainment and activities were completely free of charge and open to the public.

“This summer has been full of great community events, including our annual family fun day celebration,” said Assemblywoman Rozic. “A very special thank you to Commonpoint Queens for partnering with us again this year and sponsoring many of the activities.”

Local residents of all ages enjoyed the festivities while they also learned about valuable resources and services from city agencies and local organizations, including the Jamaica Estates Volunteer Ambulance Corp, FDNY, and the Queens Chamber of Commerce.

Rozic added, “Family Fun Day is a testament that many Queens families are looking for an experience without breaking the bank or traveling for hours right before the school year begins. I was delighted to see that everyone, both young and old, were thoroughly enjoying themselves.”
