Park Bike Path Repaving -- Kissena Corridor Park bike pathways Located in Flushing, Kissena Corridor Park provides much needed relaxation for local community members, including visitors from local schools, community centers, and hospitals. Repaving this bike pathway would improve accessibility for visitors of this park and better connect them to other adjoining outdoor spaces such as Kissena Park and Queens Botanical Garden.
Playground Upgrades -- Utopia Playground equipment Neighbors of Utopia Playground, located on Utopia Parkway and 73rd Avenue in Fresh Meadows, are requesting that the play areas and equipment be updated in this area or other available ones so that children can enjoy safer recreation.
Park Lighting -- Kissena Park security lighting Local park visitors feel that through updated security lighting, Kissena Park, which is located in Flushing, will become a safer environment, especially for senior citizens. Security cameras and lighting would assist in crime prevention as well.
