Assemblyman Hawley welcomes a collection of exceptional local students to the State Capitol in Albany.
Assemblyman Steve Hawley (R,I,C-Batavia) recently welcomed students from the Oakfield-Alabama (OA) Leadership Class to the State Capitol in Albany. The high school juniors, who belong to a group of exceptional OA students that are learning the values of community service and civic engagement, were escorted through the Capitol by Assemblyman Hawley. The group visited the Assembly Chamber and discussed how state government affects the lives of Western New Yorkers.
