"This past weekend, the Hudson Hall at the historic Hudson Opera House reopened after an extraordinary renovation that New York State was very instrumental in making sure happened. This facility is the longest surviving theater in New York State… this restoration which we celebrated this weekend will give this facility, the whole Hudson community, and the whole Hudson Valley a new opportunity to showcase this building that was first built in 1855 as a city hall and a place for everything that cities in that era engaged in," said Assemblymember Didi Barrett on the floor of the Assembly welcoming the executive team of the Hudson Opera House to the Assembly Chamber.
