Assembly Minority Leader Brian M. Kolb (R,C-Canandaigua) (at podium) stood with his Assembly colleagues and Ramona Bantle-Fahy (left of Leader), crime victim survivor and advocate, to push for the passage of Ramona’s Law, which would extend the maximum time for parole reconsideration with respect to certain violent felony offenses. Leader Kolb stressed the need for legislation that protects victims of crime in New York state and called on the Legislature and governor to consider this common-sense legislation.
