        AN  ACT  establishing  a moratorium on the prohibition of feeding white-
          tailed deer in Sullivan county
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Notwithstanding  section  11-0325  of  the  environmental
     2  conservation law, or any other law, rule, or regulation to the contrary,
     3  in Sullivan county, a moratorium is imposed on the prohibition of  feed-
     4  ing  white-tailed deer. The moratorium shall continue in existence until
     5  January 1, 2024, or until the legislature determines,  through  legisla-
     6  tive  action,  that  the white-tailed deer population in Sullivan county
     7  has increased in such an amount as to warrant the removal of such  mora-
     8  torium prior to January 1, 2024.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
