        Introduced  by M. of A. PRETLOW -- read once and referred to the Commit-
          tee on Health
 
        AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation to  general  hospital
          inpatient reimbursement
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Subdivision 7 of section 2807-c of the public health law is
     2  amended by adding a new paragraph (e) to read as follows:
     3    (e) Notwithstanding any other provision of  this  subdivision  or  any
     4  other inconsistent law, rule or regulation, and effective January first,
     5  two  thousand  eighteen,  the  general hospital known as the Westchester
     6  Medical Center operated by the Westchester  county  health  care  corpo-
     7  ration  shall  be assigned to the same peer group of major public hospi-
     8  tals as the general hospitals operated by the New York City  Health  and
     9  Hospitals Corporation for all the purposes of this subdivision.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
