        AN  ACT  to  amend the state finance law, in relation to prohibiting the
          state comptroller from doing  business  with  companies  that  design,

          manufacture or sell provocative children's clothing
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. The state finance law is amended by adding  a  new  section
     2  98-d to read as follows:
     3    §  98-d.  Investment  of  funds  prohibited  in provocative children's
     4  clothing companies. 1. The  comptroller  shall  not  invest  any  moneys
     5  belonging  to  any funds which the comptroller now is or hereafter shall
     6  be authorized to invest in companies that design,  manufacture  or  sell
     7  provocative children's clothing.
     8    2. For the purposes of this section, "provocative children's clothing"
     9  shall  mean clothes marketed to children that promote or highlight sexu-

    10  alization and objectification, including but  not  limited  to  clothing
    11  that emphasizes sexual eroticism or suggestive sayings.
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
