        AN ACT to amend the tax law, in relation to the authority of the  direc-
          tor of the division of the lottery
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-

        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 1603 of the tax law is  amended  by  adding  a  new
     2  subdivision 6 to read as follows:
     3    6.  The  director  shall have the authority to issue a license for any
     4  on-line lottery game whether known as "Quick Draw" or by any other  name
     5  to any business which had been previously denied such license because it
     6  did  not meet the space requirements of the division. The director shall
     7  have the authority to revoke such license if the sales of  such  on-line
     8  lottery  games  by  any business are insufficient to meet administrative
     9  costs and public convenience is adequately served by other licensees.
    10    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
