        Introduced by M. of A. MOLINARO -- read once and referred to the Commit-
          tee on Transportation
 
        AN  ACT  to  amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to providing
          for the remittance of ten percent of fees collected for certain  motor
          vehicle-related  services  to  the clerk of the county of residence of
          individuals paying such fees
 

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  The  vehicle  and  traffic law is amended by adding a new
     2  section 205-a to read as follows:
     3    § 205-a. Remittance to counties of fees for certain transactions.  The
     4  commissioner  shall  remit from fees collected for any motor vehicle-re-
     5  lated service described in subdivision one of section two  hundred  five
     6  of  this  chapter  performed  by a department office ten percent of such
     7  fees to the clerk of the county of residence of the individual  engaging
     8  in such transaction.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
