AN ACT to amend the penal law, in relation to the definition of "danger-
ous contraband"
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Subdivision 4 of section 205.00 of the penal law is amended
2 to read as follows:
3 4. "Dangerous contraband" means contraband, including any amount of
4 marijuana, narcotic or controlled substance, which is capable of such
5 use as may endanger the safety or security of a detention facility or
6 any person therein.
7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
