          tee on Health
 
        AN ACT to amend chapter 738 of the laws of 2005, relating to  establish-
          ing  a safe patient handling demonstration program, in relation to the
          effectiveness thereof
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-

        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Section 3 of chapter 738 of the laws of 2005, relating to
     2  establishing a safe patient handling demonstration program,  as  amended
     3  by chapter 153 of the laws of 2009, is amended to read as follows:
     4    §  3.  This act shall take effect immediately, and shall expire and be
     5  deemed repealed [6] 8 years after such date.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
