AN ACT to amend chapter 75 of the laws of 2015, amending the environ-
mental conservation law relating to authorizing the taking of big game
in the county of Schenectady using a rifle, in relation to making the
provisions thereof permanent
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 5 of chapter 75 of the laws of 2015, amending the
2 environmental conservation law relating to authorizing the taking of big
3 game in the county of Schenectady using a rifle, is amended to read as
4 follows:
5 § 5. This act shall take effect immediately, provided that:
6 (a) the amendments to item (d) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
7 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law, made by section
8 one of this act, shall not affect the expiration and repeal of the
9 amendments thereto, made by chapter 141 of the laws of 2014, and shall
10 expire and be deemed repealed therewith, when upon such date section two
11 of this act shall take effect; and
12 (b) the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907
13 of the environmental conservation law, made by sections two and three of
14 this act, shall be subject to the expiration and reversion of such para-
15 graph pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600 of the laws of 1993, as
16 amended, when upon such date section four of this act shall take
17 effect[; and
18 (c) nothing contained in this act shall be construed so as to extend
19 the provisions of this act beyond October 1, 2017, when upon such date
20 this act shall expire and the provisions contained herein shall be
21 deemed repealed].
22 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
