        Introduced  by M. of A. GUNTHER -- read once and referred to the Commit-
          tee on Transportation
 
        AN ACT to amend the vehicle and traffic law, in relation to  prohibiting
          certain children from riding on a motorcycle
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section 1. Section 1251 of the vehicle and traffic law is  amended  by
     2  adding a new subdivision (e) to read as follows:
     3    (e)  No person shall operate or ride a motorcycle on a public highway,
     4  road or street in this state with a child under the  age  of  twelve  on
     5  such motorcycle.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect on the first of November next succeed-
     7  ing the date on which it shall have become a law.
