        AN ACT to amend the social services law, in relation to  establishing  a
          program  as  part  of the supplemental nutrition assistance program to
          allow recipients to purchase prepared meals at certain establishments

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1. Section 95 of the social services law is amended by adding
     2  a new subdivision 11 to read as follows:
     3    11. (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law  to  the  contrary,
     4  the office shall establish a program as part of the SNAP to allow recip-
     5  ients to purchase prepared meals at certain establishments in accordance
     6  with 7 U.S.C. 2012(k).
     7    (b)  The  office  shall  adopt  any  rules  necessary to implement the
     8  provisions of this subdivision.
     9    § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred eightieth day after
    10  it shall have become a law.
