        Introduced  by  M.  of  A. HYER-SPENCER, TITONE, TOBACCO, CUSICK -- read
          once and referred to the Committee on Transportation
 
        AN ACT to amend the public authorities law, in relation to  granting  of
          discounted E-Z Pass privileges to SUNY and CUNY students
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-

        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 354 of the public authorities  law  is  amended  by
     2  adding a new subdivision 14-a to read as follows:
     3    14-a.  To  grant  discounted  E-Z  Pass  privileges  to  all currently
     4  enrolled full time and part time students of the State University of New
     5  York and the City University of New York.
     6    § 2. This act shall take effect on the one hundred twentieth day after
     7  it shall have become a law; provided, however that the thruway authority
     8  shall promulgate any rules and regulations necessary for the implementa-
     9  tion of this act on or before such effective date.
