AN ACT to amend the alcoholic beverage control law, in relation to
authorizing the state liquor authority to issue company permits for
certain vehicles over sixty-five thousand pounds
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 94 of the alcoholic beverage control law is amended
2 by adding a new subdivision 2-b to read as follows:
3 2-b. In lieu of such permits, the liquor authority may issue a company
4 permit to a licensed manufacturer or wholesaler licensed pursuant to
5 section fifty-three of this chapter for an annual fee of sixty-four
6 hundred dollars. Such company permit shall cover any and all vehicles
7 over sixty-five thousand pounds hired or contracted for a term by such
8 permittee. In lieu of the sign required to be affixed to each vehicle
9 pursuant to subdivision one of this section, the holder of the company
10 permit may have in the cab of such hired or contracted vehicle a photos-
11 tatic copy, noting the time and date alcoholic beverages departed the
12 company and its intended delivery time and date of destination of its
13 company permit issued by the authority.
14 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
