        Introduced by M. of A. McDONALD -- read once and referred to the Commit-
          tee on Higher Education
 
        AN ACT to amend the education law, in relation to including nasal sprays
          in  topical therapeutic pharmaceutical agents optometrists are author-
          ized to use
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:

     1    Section  1.  Subdivision  1  of section 7101-a of the education law is
     2  amended by adding a new paragraph (e-1) to read as follows:
     3    (e-1) Nasal  sprays  as  topical  therapeutic  pharmaceutical  agents.
     4  Topical therapeutic pharmaceutical agents shall also include those drugs
     5  listed  in  subparagraph (iii) of paragraph (f) of this subdivision that
     6  are administered through a nasal spray for  the  treatment  of  dry  eye
     7  disease.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
