          Committee on Health
 
        AN ACT to amend part X2 of chapter 62 of the laws of 2003, amending  the
          public  health  law  relating  to allowing for the use of funds of the
          office of professional medical conduct for activities of  the  patient
          health information and quality improvement act of 2000, in relation to

          the effectiveness of such part
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1.  Section 4 of part X2 of chapter 62 of the  laws  of  2003,
     2  amending the public health law relating to allowing for the use of funds
     3  of  the  office  of  professional  medical conduct for activities of the
     4  patient health information and  quality  improvement  act  of  2000,  as
     5  amended  by  section  6  of part A of chapter 58 of the laws of 2008, is
     6  amended to read as follows:
     7    § 4. This  act  shall  take  effect  immediately;  provided  that  the
     8  provisions  of  section  one of this act shall be deemed to have been in
     9  full force and effect on and after April 1, 2003, and shall expire March
    10  31, [2010] 2011 when upon such date the provisions of such section shall

    11  be deemed repealed.
    12    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
