        Introduced  by  Sen. SKOUFIS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Rules
 
        AN ACT to amend a chapter of the laws of 2022   amending  the  alcoholic
          beverage  control  law, relating to requiring  curriculum  related  to
          human trafficking awareness to be included in alcohol training  aware-
          ness programs, as proposed in legislative bills numbers S. 7360 and A.
          9821, in relation to the effectiveness thereof
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 3 of a chapter of the laws of 2022    amending  the
     2  alcoholic   beverage   control  law,  relating  to requiring  curriculum
     3  related  to   human   trafficking awareness to be  included  in  alcohol
     4  training awareness programs, as proposed in legislative bills numbers S.
     5  7360 and A. 9821, is amended to read as follows:
     6    §  3. This act shall take effect on the [thirtieth] one hundred eight-
     7  ieth day after it shall have become a law, provided, however,  that  the
     8  amendments  to  subdivision  10  of section 18 of the alcoholic beverage
     9  control law made by section one of this act shall not affect the expira-
    10  tion of such subdivision and shall be deemed to  expire  therewith;  and
    11  provided  further  that section two of this act shall take effect on the
    12  same date as the reversion of subdivision 12 of section 17 of the  alco-
    13  holic  beverage  control  law as provided in section 4 of chapter 118 of
    14  the laws of 2012,  as  amended.  Effective  immediately,  the  addition,
    15  amendment  and/or  repeal  of  any  rule or regulation necessary for the
    16  implementation of this act on its  effective  date  are  authorized  and
    17  directed to be made and completed on or before such effective date.
    18    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
