AN ACT to amend the general city law, the town law and the village law,
in relation to requiring residential facilities of state agencies to
maintain on file and make accessible a facility site plan
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 27-a of the general city law is amended by adding a
2 new subdivision 1-a to read as follows:
3 1-a. Every residential facility under the control of a state agency
4 shall keep on file at such residential facility and have accessible a
5 facility site plan. Upon request, the residential facility site plan
6 shall be made available to the local municipal governing body and emer-
7 gency responders. For the purposes of this subdivision, "state agency"
8 means any department, bureau, commission, board, public authority or
9 other agency of the state, including any public benefit corporation any
10 member of whose board is appointed by the governor.
11 § 2. Section 274-a of the town law is amended by adding a new subdivi-
12 sion 1-a to read as follows:
13 1-a. Every residential facility under the control of a state agency
14 shall keep on file at such residential facility and have accessible a
15 facility site plan. Upon request, the residential facility site plan
16 shall be made available to the local municipal governing body and emer-
17 gency responders. For the purposes of this subdivision, "state agency"

3 § 3. Section 7-725-a of the village law is amended by adding a new
4 subdivision 1-a to read as follows:

13 § 4. This act shall take effect on the thirtieth day after it shall
14 have become a law.
