        Introduced  by  Sen.  HANNON -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Health
 
        AN ACT to amend the public health law, in relation  to  hospital  report
          cards
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 

     1    Section 1. Section 2995-b of the  public  health  law  is  amended  by
     2  adding a new subdivision 4 to read as follows:
     3    4.  Other data. Any other entity, excluding government and accrediting
     4  organizations, that produce comparative hospital data shall  include  on
     5  any report thereof, the following statement:
     6    "This  report  is not the New York State Official Hospital Comparative
     7  Report Card."
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
