AN ACT to amend chapter 412 of the laws of 2008 amending the environ-
mental conservation law relating to allowing the use of rifles for
hunting deer in the county of Madison, in relation to the effective-
ness of such provisions
The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-bly, do enact as follows:
1 Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 412 of the laws of 2008 amending the
2 environmental conservation law relating to allowing the use of rifles
3 for hunting deer in the county of Madison, is amended to read as
4 follows:
5 § 3. This act shall take effect immediately; provided that the amend-
6 ments to item (i) of paragraph a of subdivision 2 of section 11-0907 of
7 the environmental conservation law made by section one of this act shall
8 be subject to the expiration and reversion of such item pursuant to
9 section 3 of chapter 296 of the laws of 2007, as amended, when upon such
10 date the provisions of section two of this act shall take effect; and
11 provided further that the amendments to paragraph a of subdivision 2 of
12 section 11-0907 of the environmental conservation law made by section
13 two of this act shall expire and be deemed repealed on the same date
14 such paragraph expires and reverts pursuant to section 13 of chapter 600
15 of the laws of 1993, as amended[; and provided, further, that this act
16 shall expire and be deemed repealed one year after its effective date].
17 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
