        Introduced  by  Sen. MARTINS -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Education
 
        AN ACT to amend chapter 618 of the laws of 1998,  amending  the  general
          municipal  law  and  the education law relating to disposal of surplus
          computer equipment by  political  subdivisions,  in  relation  to  the

          effectiveness  thereof; and to repeal subdivision 10 of section 318 of
          the education law relating to reporting on the  donations  of  surplus
          computers
 
          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 618 of the laws of 1998, amending  the
     2  general  municipal law and the education law relating to the disposal of
     3  surplus computer equipment by  political  subdivisions,  as  amended  by
     4  chapter 200 of the laws of 2010, is amended to read as follows:
     5    §  3.  This act shall take effect immediately and shall expire July 1,
     6  [2013] 2016 when upon such date the provisions  of  this  act  shall  be
     7  deemed repealed.
     8    § 2 Subdivision 10 of section 318 of the education law is REPEALED.

     9    §  3.  This act shall take effect immediately; provided, however, that
    10  section two of this act shall take effect on July 1, 2013.
