        Introduced  by Sen. GRISANTI -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Finance
 
        AN ACT making an appropriation to the office for  people  with  develop-
          mental  disabilities  for the purpose of increasing residential treat-
          ment facilities
 

          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1. The sum of fifty million dollars ($50,000,000), or so much
     2  thereof as may be necessary, is hereby appropriated to  the  office  for
     3  people  with  developmental  disabilities out of any moneys in the state
     4  treasury in the general fund, not otherwise appropriated, and made imme-
     5  diately available to assist the office  for  people  with  developmental
     6  disabilities  with  the  development and operation of programs, supports
     7  and services for  new  residential  opportunities  throughout  New  York
     8  state.  Such funding shall supplement the monies appropriated by chapter
     9  53 of the laws of 2013 to the office for people with developmental disa-
    10  bilities and shall be subject to the same conditions and requirements as

    11  stipulated  in such chapter, including sub-allocations to the department
    12  of health for the state's medical assistance program.
    13    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
