PERSAUD -- read twice and ordered printed, and when printed to be committed to the Committee on Aging AN ACT to amend the elder law, in relation to congregate services initi- ative for the elderly The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem- bly, do enact as follows: 1 Section 1. Subparagraphs 9 and 10 of paragraph (d) of subdivision 1 of 2 section 217 of the elder law are amended and a new subparagraph 11 is 3 added to read as follows: 4 (9) Employment services information; [and] 5 (10) Health promotion and disease prevention services[.]; and 6 (11) Financial literacy. 7 § 2. This act shall take effect immediately. EXPLANATION--Matter in italics (underscored) is new; matter in brackets [] is old law to be omitted. LBD14101-01-6
