        Introduced  by Sen. CARLUCCI -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Codes
 
        AN ACT to amend the criminal procedure law, in relation  to  designating
          court  attendants  in  the  town of Ossining, county of Westchester as
          peace officers
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-

        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Section  2.10 of the criminal procedure law is amended by
     2  adding a new subdivision 84 to read as follows:
     3    84. Employees of the town of Ossining serving as court  attendants  in
     4  the  courts  of the town of Ossining; provided, however, that nothing in
     5  this subdivision shall be deemed to authorize such employees  to  carry,
     6  possess,  repair  or dispose of a firearm unless the appropriate license
     7  therefore has been issued pursuant to section 400.00 of the penal law.
     8    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
