        Introduced  by Sen. STAVISKY -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
          printed to be committed to the Committee on Higher Education
 
        AN ACT to amend chapter 534 of the laws of 1993 amending  the  education
          law  relating to physical therapy assistants, in relation to extending
          the effective date thereof
 
          The People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and  Assem-

        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section  1.  Section 2 of chapter 534 of the laws of 1993 amending the
     2  education law relating to physical therapy  assistants,  as  amended  by
     3  chapter 148 of the laws of 2006, is amended to read as follows:
     4    §  2.  This  act  shall take effect on the sixtieth day after it shall
     5  have become a law and shall remain in effect until June 30, [2010]  2014
     6  on which date it shall be repealed.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
