                                       ___________

Introduced by Sen. MARCHIONE -- read twice and ordered printed, and when
printed to be committed to the Committee on Local Government

AN ACT to authorize the assessor of the city of Hudson to accept an
application for exemption from real property taxes from the State
Street A M E Zion Church for a certain parcel of land in the city of

12 exemption if such church had filed an application for exemption by the

14 common council of the city of Hudson, may grant exemption from all taxa-
15 tion and make appropriate correction to the subject rolls. If such
16 exemption is granted and such church therefore shall have paid any tax
17 with respect to the subject rolls, the governing body or tax department
18 may, in its sole discretion, provide for the refund of those taxes paid
19 and cancel any taxes, fines, penalties, interest or tax liens remaining
    20 unpaid.
