        Introduced  by Sens. FERNANDEZ, MAYER -- read twice and ordered printed,
          and when printed to be committed to the  Committee  on  Investigations
          and Government Operations
 
        AN  ACT  to  amend  chapter  88 of the laws of 2009 amending the tax law
          relating to the imposition of an occupancy tax  in  the  city  of  New
          Rochelle, in relation to extending the effectiveness thereof

          The  People of the State of New York, represented in Senate and Assem-
        bly, do enact as follows:
 
     1    Section 1. Section 2 of chapter 88 of the laws of  2009  amending  the
     2  tax  law  relating  to the imposition of an occupancy tax in the city of
     3  New Rochelle, as amended by chapter 403 of the laws of 2021, is  amended
     4  to read as follows:
     5    §  2.  This  act shall take effect immediately and shall expire and be
     6  deemed repealed September 1, [2024] 2027.
     7    § 2. This act shall take effect immediately.
